About Kambo

Kambo, also known as sapo, is a secretion produced by the Phyllomedusa Bicolor (Giant Monkey Tree Frog). Found in abundance in the Amazon basin, the frog’s secretion has traditionally been used by the Matsés tribe and other indigenous peoples in hunting rituals for its unique ability to disperse negative energy (panema), and increase strength and stamina. Today, Kambo is used for a variety of different intents and purposes, and offers great physical benefits to the human body due to the potent bioactive peptides present in its makeup.

“Kambo contains a fantastic chemical cocktail with potential medical applications, unequaled by any other amphibian”

— Vittorio Espamer, Italian Pharmacologist

Benefits of Kambo & Highlighted Bioactive Peptides

  • Relief from anxiety, depression, PTSD, & emotional blocks

  • Increased sensory perception

  • Increased immunity

  • Digestive wellness

  • Relief from chronic pain and chronic fatigue

  • Reduced inflammation

  • Improved mobility and strength

  • Strengthened detoxification pathways

  • Improved stress response

  • Improved sleep and energy

  • Improved mental clarity

  • Prevention of cognitive loss diseases

  • Enhanced defense against fungal infections

  • Symptom management for conditions including Lyme’s, MS, arthritis, etc.

  • Enhance motivation to release unhealthy/unwanted habits

  • Pyllomedusin

Produces smooth muscle contractions and increases secretions of the gastrointestinal tract. This contributes to the deep purge.

  • Phyllokinin

Potent vasodilators which also increase the permeability of the blood brain barrier.

  • Caeruleins/Sauvagines

Produces smooth muscle contractions as well as a drop in blood pressure and tachycardia. These peptides stimulate the adrenal cortex and pituitary gland and also possess analgesic properties.

  • Dermorphin/Deltorphin

Agonists of the opiod receptors, these peptides are 4000 times more potent than morphine and 40 times more potent than the endogenous endorphins.

  • Adenoregulins

Works on the human body through the adenosine receptors which are a fundamental component throughout all human cellular fuel.

  • Dermaseptins

Antimicrobial peptides which are the frogs first line of defense for the frogs bare skin against microbial invasion. Separate research carried out at the University of Paris and Queens University in Belfast have shown that dermaseptins may have applications in treating certain types of cancer cells.

  • Bombesins

Stimulate pancreatic secretions and also stimulate the secretion of hydrochloric acid by acting on the G cells of the stomach.

  • Tryptophilins

Opening new perspectives on the human brain works.
